MP to Prime Minister: He who plays with fire gets burned

Monday, February 21, 2022 National 1 Min Read
MP: Dbeibeh’s government came for two tasks but didn’t accomplish

Member of the Libyan Parliament Ali al-Tikbali directed a message to the outgoing Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity (GNU), Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh.

Al-Tikbali said on Facebook: “Mr. Dbeibeh, he who plays with fire gets burned. You do not want to stay in power for the sake of homeland, but for the sake of money.”

He continued: “The homeland is greater than all of us, I hope you do not make yourself a tool to destroy it.”

Al-Tikbali added: “Dbeibeh, in order to remain in power, lies to the people and promises things that cannot be achieved, knowing that the state is bankrupt and cannot meet the simplest demands of its citizens.”
