The National Oil Corporation’s budget committee convened a meeting on Tuesday to review development plans for the Ras Lanuf and Mellitah complexes, according to a statement by the NOC.
Production at the Ras Lanuf complex resumed after a 12-year hiatu and the corporation is reportedly seeking to have the complex operate in full capacity before the end of this year, NOC said.
Meanwhile, maintenance and development of the Mellitah is underway with NOC chairman Farhat bin Qadara affirming that renovation at the complex would contribute to raising oil production levels.
