Libya’s Minister of Economy and Trade, Muhammad Al-Huwayj, and U.S. Special Envoy and Ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland, met in Tunis on Saturday for discussion on “potential political and economic reforms,” according to a statement by the U.S. Embassy in Libya.
The two specifically discuss reforming “the subsidy regime to grow Libya’s private sector and attract foreign investment,” as per the American embassy.
