Deputy Head of the Presidential Council (PC), Abdullah al-Lafi, payed a visit Tuesday to al-Qubba during which he met the Speaker of Parliament , Aqila Saleh, in the presence of a number of members of Parliament, to discuss support for the political track, and to follow up on the latest political situation in the country, according to the PC media Office.
The meeting reviewed the efforts of the Presidential Council and the Parliament to enhance stability, ways to make the national reconciliation project succeed, to achieve consensus among all parties, and to maintain the political track for the success of the road map and crossing this stage, leading to the election, the Office said in a statement.
Al-Lafi’s visit came in conjunction with the presence of the Prime Minister-designate, Fatihi Bashagha, in al-Qubba to meet with the Speaker of Parliament.
