President of the Libyan Presidential Council (PC), Mohamed al-Menfi, received Sunday in Tripoli French Ambassador to Libya, Mustafa al-Mahraj.
The meeting dealt with developments of the political situation in Libya, and the national and international efforts that France contributes to to reach political stability that leads to parliamentary and presidential elections, according to PC Media Office.
French ambassador praised the role played by the Presidential Council to get out of the current crisis, stressing the continuation of France’s efforts to achieve stability, pointing out that it will play a positive role in the stability of Libya to reach a political agreement that paves the way for holding elections according to a constitutional basis, the results of which are approved by all political parties, said the Media Office.
