Mussa Koni, deputy chairman of the Presidential Council, held talks with the E.U. Ambassador José Sabadell in Tripoli yesterday to specifically discuss steps taken by the EU in the framework of its support for the Libyan elections, including the deployment of European monitors.
According to a statement by the council, Koni expressed appreciation for “the efforts of the European Union Mission to stand by Libya in many areas, which require international expertise and knowledge in addressing all issues”.
