Benghazi – A broad meeting was held in Benghazi, bringing together the head of the Sabri and Central Benghazi Reconstruction Committee, Engineer Mohamed Al-Hosadi, committee members, a team from the Libyan-Italian Chamber of Commerce, and representatives of specialized Italian companies. The talks focused on efforts to rebuild the historic heart of the city.
The meeting aimed to track and review the preparation of architectural designs and master plans. Participants sought to ensure these plans met technical specifications and official requirements before final approval. They also emphasized safeguarding the city’s architectural identity and heritage.
During the meeting, the design team from the Libyan-Italian Chamber of Commerce presented the master plan for Benghazi’s historic center. Attendees discussed engineering details, proposed solutions, and concepts. The goal was to strike a balance between maintaining the historical and architectural value of the area and meeting the needs of modern development.
