The Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Colonel General Saddam Haftar, inspected the headquarters of the 106th Special Forces Brigade. He was received by the Chief of Staff of the Security Units, Major General Safwan Botighan, and the Commander of the 106th Brigade, Lieutenant Colonel Muftah al-Amari.
The visit included an inspection tour of the Storm Battalion units to review the level of readiness and combat efficiency, and to oversee part of the advanced training exercises conducted by the battalion’s personnel.
Colonel General Saddam Haftar praised the role of the Storm Battalion and the 106th Brigade in combating terrorism, as well as their high level of military discipline and order.
