Benghazi – The Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar, visited the Egyptian frigate ENS Port Said (976) at the Benghazi Naval Base. He was received by the Commander of the First Destroyer Brigade of the Egyptian Navy and the commander of the frigate, Commodore Ahmed El-Masry.
The visit of the ENS Port Said (976) to the city of Benghazi comes within the framework of strengthening military cooperation between the Libyan and Egyptian naval forces. It also aims to support expertise exchange programs in the field of maritime training between the two sides.
During the visit, Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar emphasized the depth of Libyan-Egyptian relations, noting the ongoing coordination and cooperation across various military fields to serve the mutual interests of the two brotherly nations.
