Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives (HoR), Aqila Saleh, assured on Saturday the United Kingdom of the legality of the procedures taken between HoR and the High Council of State (HCS) regarding the twelfth constitutional amendment, and the selection of a new prime minister.
This came during a phone call with the UK ambassador to Libya, Caroline Hurndall.
HoR Spokesman, Abdulla Bleihiq , said Saleh received a phone call today from the British ambassador, during which they discussed enhancing means of joint cooperation between the two countries, and the latest developments in Libya.
Hurndall informed Saleh that she will visit Benghazi and the eastern region (Curenaica) in two days, and will meet with him at his residence in al-Qubba, according to HoR Spokesman.
