Sirte – The Sirte Oncology Center has launched a specialized training course in government accounting and documentation procedures. The program is aimed at employees from the finance and storage departments at the center, with participation from staff at the Sirte Reference Laboratory.
Head of the Media Department, Ahmed Hammadi, told the Libyan News Agency that the course was supervised by Financial Controller Osama Al-Naqqa and delivered by instructor Mohamed Abu Halaba. The training covered essential rules and regulations for managing public sector finances, as well as methods for applying the government accounting system in line with current regulations and legislation.
Hammadi said the course focused on explaining the documentation process and its importance for organizing financial and administrative procedures. It also addressed how to prepare, circulate, and store documents to strengthen financial oversight, promote transparency, and improve institutional performance.
He added that this training is part of an ongoing program aimed at developing the skills and professional efficiency of the center’s staff, with the goal of improving service quality and enhancing administrative operations at the Sirte Oncology Center.
