Benghazi – Oil prices recovered slightly on Wednesday after falling in the previous session to their lowest level in a month, amid signs of approaching peace talks between Russia and Ukraine, a development that could pave the way for lifting international sanctions on Russian supplies.
Brent crude futures rose 19 cents, or 0.3%, to $62.67 a barrel. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures also climbed 14 cents, or 0.24%, to $58.09 a barrel.
Both contracts had ended yesterday’s trading down 89 cents.
