Director of Asian and Australian Affairs Department at the Libyan Foreign Ministry, Ahmed al-Naas, met Wednesday with the Ambassador of South Korea to Libya, Lee Sang-soo, according to the Libyan Foreign Ministry.
The meeting, which was held at the Ministry’s headquarters in Tripoli, discussed the return of Korean companies to complete their suspended projects in Libya as soon as possible, the Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
It also discussed a number of files of common interest, including revival of the joint commission, strengthening relations between the two countries, reopening the Korean embassy to conduct its work from Tripoli and activating the consulate section to provide visas and necessary services for citizens, starting from the end of this month, the statement added.
