Um al-Araneb Rural Hospital successfully performed surgery on a young girl who was born with fused fingers on both hands. The operation was carried out as part of the hospital’s medical services and involved specialized staff from a visiting medical team.
The surgery was performed under general anesthesia. The medical team separated the fused fingers on both hands, which will help improve the girl’s hand function and restore the natural appearance of her fingers.
The surgical team included surgeon Mohamed Al-Sheikhy, surgical doctor Mahmoud Al-Fleilih, and anesthesiologist Emad Al-Sadiq Al-Barasi.
