Syrian President Bashar Assan met on Sunday with a delegation from the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union participating in the union’s conference, which concluded yesterday in Baghdad.
The delegation included the President of the Union, Muhammad al-Halbousi, the heads of parliaments in the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Palestine, Egypt as well as Libya’s Speaker of House of Representatives Aguila Saleh.
