Luanda, Angola | The Libyan National Football Team held onto its slim hopes of qualifying for the World Cup finals after a precious 1-0 away victory over the Angolan national team on Thursday in the seventh round of Group 4 of the African qualifiers for the World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Libyan Foreign Minister, Najla al-Mangoush, held a joint consultative meeting with the foreign ministers of Algeria, Ramtane Lamamra, Naledi Pandor of South Africa, and Angolan Deputy Foreign Minister Esmeralda Mendonca.
