Benghazi – The Higher Committee for Resolving the Electricity Crisis held a meeting, presided over by the Director General of the Libya Development and Reconstruction Fund, Engineer Belkacem Khalifa, and attended by the Minister of Electricity, Awad Al-Badri.
The meeting featured a comprehensive review of the practical steps accomplished in the past period, which have contributed to improving the stability of the electrical grid. The discussion also addressed the most prominent remaining challenges and the development of urgent solutions, with the goal of achieving a stable electricity service that covers all parts of the country.
The attendees stressed the importance of accelerating the pace of work and coordination among the relevant authorities, led by the Ministry of Electricity and the Reconstruction Fund, to ensure the timely implementation of vital projects and enhance the efficiency of the grid’s infrastructure.
For his part, Engineer Belkacem Khalifa expressed his deep appreciation for all workers in the electricity sector, including engineers, technicians, and administrators, commending their dedication to performing their duties despite the challenges. He affirmed that their efforts are a fundamental pillar in achieving service stability and meeting the needs of the citizens.
