The National Center for Disease Control renews its commitment to eradicate tuberculosis

Tripoli – The National Center for Disease Control reaffirmed its commitment. This declaration was made on Tuesday. The center will continue its efforts to limit disease spread. It also aims to eradicate diseases. This will be achieved by enhancing prevention programs. Early diagnosis and treatment are also vital.

The center made a statement on World Tuberculosis (TB) Day. It affirmed that TB control is a health priority. It requires coordinated national efforts. Public health awareness must also be raised. Early diagnosis and adherence to treatment are fundamental. These actions are crucial for achieving recovery. They also prevent the spread of infection.

The center clarified that TB is curable. Treatment is available and free. It is offered at all specialized health centers. Citizens are urged to seek testing. This is important if symptoms appear. Symptoms include persistent cough, weight loss, and night sweats.

The center also emphasized the importance of cooperation. This cooperation is between medical professionals and the community. It is a key element. It supports national efforts to eradicate the disease. This cooperation also helps limit its spread.
