The UK has congratulated the Senegalese diplomat Abdoulaye Bathily on his appointment as Special Representative of the UN Secretary General for Libya, according to the British Embassy in Libya.
“We look forward to working with him to drive progress towards stability, unity and national elections in Libya,” the Embassy tweeted on Sunday.
