The U.N. Advisor on Libya, Stephanie Williams, is “following with concern” reports of closure of oil fields and suspension of some civilian flights between Tripoli and several eastern Libya cities.
“Freedom of movement around the country is a basic right and all civilian flights should be resumed,” she said.
“Blocking oil production deprives all Libyans from their major source of revenue. The oil blockade should be lifted,” Williams concluded.
