UN Deputy SRSG, Raisedon Zenenga, met with former President of the Tripoli-based High Council of State (HCS), Abdelrahman Al-Swehli, according to UN Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL).
They discussed the latest political developments in Libya and SRSG Abdoulaye Bathily’s efforts to facilitate a pathway to credible elections, UNSMIL tweeted.
They agreed on the need for an inclusive political agreement among Libyan stakeholders facilitated by the SRSG on the main contentious issues that are impeding elections, said the Mission.
