The outgoing Libyan Prime Minister, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, instructed the Ministry of Local Government to form a committee to compensate those affected by the clashes in Tripoli.
Dbeibeh’s decision stipulated the need to take the necessary measures by forming a committee to assess the damages within a week.
The prime minister stressed that the Ministry of Local Government should estimate the value of the compensation needed to work on disbursing it to the affected citizens.
On Monday and Tuesday, the capital, Tripoli, witnessed armed clashes between the Special Deterrence Force and Brigade 444, which resulted in a number of casualties and damage to public and private property.
