Forming a new Libyan interim government could disrupt the elections process in Libya, warned Richard Norland, the U.S. Ambassador and Special Envoy to Libya.
Speaking during an interview with CNN on Friday, Norland
In statements to CNN, he called for the departure of all foreign forces and mercenaries. He pointed out that efforts have been made in this issue, and the United States is ready to provide support.
The American diplomat warned out that the election date should not be delayed for a long time so as not to lead to a loss of credibility. He said that elections could be held before June if the Libyans reached the required compromises.
