The Libyan Attorney General, Al-Siddiq Al-Sour, visited Rome on the weekend where he met with Italian Supreme Court judge Giovanni Salvi and Attorney General Renato Venechio to discuss judicial cooperation.
According to a statement by Al-Sour’s office, the Libyan official explored with the Italian side “the establishment a judicial link to support investigations and exchange information against criminal organizations.”
The two sides also discussed activating joint deals that were previously side between Italy and Libya, including the required “mechanism and protocols” for implementing those deals
