The US ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland, has condemned the recent attack by ISIS, which took place near Qatrun in southern Libya, during the past two days, describing it as a “terrorist”.
“We express our condolences to the families of the victims and those killed in the fighting”, Norland tweeted, confirming the United States’ support for efforts to safeguard Libya’s sovereignty by combatting terrorism, improving security in the south and border region, and unifying the country’s military forces.
