Wadi Utba – The local Crisis and Emergency Committee in Wadi Utba municipality held its preliminary and regular meeting, chaired by Ahmed Abu Salah. Members of the municipal council, the acting municipal office director, and representatives from relevant agencies attended the meeting to discuss preparedness and field coordination measures.
At the start of the meeting, the committee chair praised the efforts and cooperation of various agencies in recent days, following heavy rainfall and flooding in the area. He commended the monitoring and ongoing readiness to handle emergency situations.
Participants discussed ways to activate the committee’s work and define responsibilities among the involved entities. They focused on improving rapid response, unifying efforts to confront any emerging crises, and ensuring protection for residents.
