Zliten has suspended classes of all private and public schools in the city for a week due to the rise of COVID-19 cases, announced the emergency committee of the municipality on Saturday.
The committee said it advised Zliten’s municipal council to shutdown schools after it carried out a health assessment of various schools in the city.
Classes to resume on February 19, the committee said.
