118 illegal Egyptian migrants deported from Benghazi

118 illegal Egyptian migrants deported from Benghazi

The Agency for Combating Illegal Migration announced the deportation of 118 illegal migrants of Egyptian nationality through the Amsaad land port.

The agency clarified that the deportation process, carried out by the Greater Benghazi branch, included a number of individuals infected with contagious diseases.

It added that individuals excluded for security reasons were also deported, and the process was carried out in accordance with applicable legal and humanitarian procedures.

The agency’s leadership affirmed that this step is part of the ongoing efforts to curb the phenomenon of illegal migration and to protect national security and public health.
