Eighteen armed groups in Libya’s Western region, named themselves as “Supporting Effective Forces”, announced in a statement that “no committee, entity or bloc represents them except the Chief of Staff of the Government of National Unity.”
The statement obtained by The Libya Update dated back to January 20 and was signed by 18 commanders of the armed groups, with their titles and affiliations.
