1,960 male and female students to take high school exams in Sirte next Sunday

Sirt – Dr. Muftah Abdelkafi, head of the Education and Teaching Authority in Sirt, announced that 1,960 students are set to take the first round of secondary school certificate exams for the scientific, literary, and religious streams for the 2025-2026 academic year. The exams will begin next Sunday.

Abdelkafi explained that the candidates include 793 male students from regular schools, 1,019 female students from regular schools, 56 male home-study students, and 92 female home-study students.

He stated that the local education authority had completed all final preparations for the exams under the oversight of the Sirt Examination Office. Fifteen exam committees are ready and have been distributed across different educational districts in the area.

Preparations include equipping exam halls and providing all necessary logistical and technical support to ensure a safe and suitable environment for students during the exam period.

Abdelkafi also noted that there has been coordination with Sirt’s Security Directorate to secure exam centers and ensure exams proceed in an organized manner without obstacles.

He stressed that the distribution of students across 15 committees is part of an organizational plan aimed at easing procedures in exam halls and enhancing discipline, contributing to the success of the examination process.
