3,326 new people test positive for Coronavirus, 7 others dead in Libya

3,326 new people test positive for Coronavirus, 7 others dead in Libya

3,326 new people tested positive for COVID-19, marking 30 percent of the infection rate, according to a Tuesday report by the National Center for Disease Control in Libya (NCDC).

The center also said that 7 people died of the virus, while 2,910 have recovered during the same reporting period.

NDCD reported that 132 people are in “critical condition”.

The total recorded COVID-19 cases in Libya have exceeded more than 456,000 since the start of the pandemic, while over 404,000 of which have recovered, according to the NCDC.

The virus has claimed the lives of 6,087 people. Over two million people received one dose of the vaccination, while more than one million others were vaccinated with two doses.
