436 new COVID-19 cases, 17 deaths recorded in Libya today

The Libyan National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced the registration of 436 new cases and 17 deaths of COVID-19.

1,309 people have recovered from COVID-19, NCDC said in a statement on Thursday.

This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in Libya to 352,192, including 62,247 active cases, 284,983 recoveries, and 4,962 deaths, since the pandemic spread in the country in March of last year, according to NCDC.

Number of people who have been vaccinated with first dose against COVID-19 have reached 1,472,287, and 340,634 have received the second dose, NCDC statement pointed out.
