An international report on the “Travel and Tour World” website confirmed that Medsky Airways has added a new A320 aircraft to its fleet through a wet-lease agreement, supporting the company’s regional capabilities and meeting the growing demand for travel to and from Libya.
The report explained that the wet-lease model has allowed Medsky to expand its operations without the burdens of ownership, enhancing flexibility, reducing costs, improving operational reliability, and increasing flight frequency, especially on untapped air corridors.
The addition was considered a “significant milestone” in the company’s growth, as it seeks to strengthen its infrastructure to support flourishing tourism and reinforce networks on important regional routes, while increasing options for international travelers to Libya.
The report noted that enhancing air capacity helps facilitate visitor access to Libyan UNESCO-listed sites such as Sabratha and the ruins of Leptis Magna, as well as enjoying the sunny, sandy Mediterranean coasts.
