The Libyan outgoing Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh has met with commanders of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous military operation, conducted against ISIS in 2016 in Sirte city.
It is noteworthy that this meeting comes days after commending the operation by the General Commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA), Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, in a gathering with social components of Sirte.
“Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh received, in his office at the Prime Minister’s Office, leaders of the Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous operation, Mukhtar Al-Jahawi, Salah Gaddafi, Osman Issa, Ali Ashtiwi, Muhammad Khalil and Muftah Abu Lifa, to discuss preparations for the commemoration of the seventh anniversary of the liberation of the city of Sirte,” Dbeibeh’s Media Office said in a statement.
