Aguila Saleh, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, decided on Saturday to form a national council for public freedoms and human rights.
The council would be chaired by Omar Hamad Attiya Allah, with Fawzi Abdullah Muftah Al-Garmadi as vice chairman. Council members would include Omar bin Nuzha, Nasser Mustafa Ali, Yazid Muhammad Balqasem Rahil, Rajab Awad Rajab Akhlif and Abdul Jawad Muhammad Al-Sheen.
