Al-Arfi: Armed formations in Tripoli face two options, with no third

Member of Parliament Abdel Moneim Al-Arfi said that illegal labor is a major cause of economic hardship in Libya. Speaking to Al-Masar TV, Al-Arfi estimated the number of undocumented migrants in the country at between 7 and 8 million.

He called for the immediate deportation of anyone without legal documentation. Al-Arfi also urged authorities to regulate foreign labor by granting official visas and imposing proper taxes. He rejected calls from human rights organizations to grant migrants permanent residency.
