Mansour Al-Hasadi, a member of the advisory High Council of State and a leader in the Muslim Brotherhood, accused UN envoy Hanna Tetteh of obstructing consensus within the High Council of State and attempting to ignore its internal political differences and geographical diversity, in a tweet via his account on the “X” platform.
Al-Hasadi said that what the envoy is doing “appears to be aimed at thwarting the role of the High Council of State in reaching consensus with the House of Representatives,” questioning whether this stemmed from poor communication with all parties or was intentional.
