Al Jabal al Akhdar – The Agricultural Police in Al Jabal al Akhdar “The Green Mountain” visited southern mountain areas on Saturday, including the Hayishat al-Thu’ban area, to assess the demands of farmers and breeders and work to improve their conditions.
The official spokesperson for the Agricultural Police in Al Jabal al Akhdar, Brigadier General Adel Abreidan, told the Libyan News Agency that the visit was conducted alongside MP Idris Imran, the coordinator of the Al-Bayda Agriculture Sector, a member of the Agricultural Research Center, a representative for agricultural development from the Al-Bayda Agriculture Sector, in addition to the Livestock Administration, members from the Tinamlu Center of the Al Jabal al Akhdar Directorate, and support patrols from the Agricultural Police.
He added that the delegation met with a number of farmers and breeders who presented a series of demands and problems they face. MP Imran listened to these demands and pledged to raise them with the director of the Reconstruction Fund, Engineer Belqasim Khalifa, to work on fulfilling them in a way that supports the agricultural sector and improves the conditions of its workers.
This visit is part of the Agricultural Police’s efforts to enhance cooperation with relevant authorities and support agricultural development in the region.
