Al-Lafi discusses service and security issues and city needs with elders and notables of Al-Jumayl

Tripoli – Abdullah Al-Lafi, a member of Libya’s Presidential Council, met with a delegation of elders and notable figures from Al-Jumayl during an Eid al-Adha reception. Both sides exchanged holiday greetings and highlighted national and social values that foster unity among Libyans.

According to the Presidential Council’s media office, the meeting addressed several service and security issues directly affecting residents. Discussions covered the city’s needs, development priorities, and ways to improve public services. Participants also reviewed steps to support security and tackle challenges facing the region.

Al-Lafi stressed the importance of regular communication with community leaders and listening to their perspectives and proposals. He said such engagement is vital for maintaining stability, advancing development, and serving the public.
