Two killed, including a woman, in Israeli occupation shelling on central and southern Gaza Strip

Gaza – Two Palestinians, including a woman, were killed Wednesday in Israeli airstrikes targeting central and southern Gaza Strip.

According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), a drone strike hit the Al-Mughraqa area, killing a Palestinian whose identity has not yet been confirmed. Medical sources said Rawya Ahmed Abu Madi, a Palestinian woman, also died Wednesday from injuries she sustained about a week ago during an Israeli strike on the Ghaith Camp in Khan Younis, in the south of the Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, Israeli artillery shelling continued east of Khan Younis.

Since October 7, 2023, the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,944, including 935 killed since the ceasefire agreement took effect on October 11, 2025.
