Tripoli – Mohammed Al-Menfi, head of the Presidential Council, issued a decision. It was issued yesterday, Monday. The decision mandates the continued service of Libyan ambassadors. It also includes representatives to international organizations abroad. Their duties will continue until a different decision is issued by the Presidential Council.
Al-Menfi attributed his decision to the public interest. It also aims to preserve Libyan state interests abroad. Article Two of the decision stipulates its immediate implementation. It is effective from its date of issuance. Any conflicting procedures are now canceled. Relevant authorities must adhere to it. They must also implement it.
