Member of the House of Representatives Badr Al-Nuhaib confirmed that the last session did not address the dismissal of the Speaker, explaining that the priority of the discussion focused on amending the internal regulations related to organizing the parliamentary session.
In a statement to “Libya Al-Ahrar” channel, Al-Nuhaib noted that the session included a discussion on selecting the accreditation body for health centers and institutions, in addition to the mechanism for issuing the House of Representatives’ official gazette, so that decisions are issued by the Speaker and his two deputies.
He explained that some laws and resolutions were postponed to the next session, noting that the House voted to summon the Governor, his deputy, and the management of the Central Bank of Libya. The summons has been referred to the House Presidency to be included in the agenda for the upcoming session.
