Al-Tahaddi SC has announced, via its official Facebook page, the appointment of Tunisian coach Tarek Thabet as head coach of the club’s first football team, in preparation for the upcoming season.
Thabet is a familiar name in Libyan football, having previously managed several local teams, most recently Al-Sadaqa last season, where he delivered strong results that secured the club’s place in the Libyan Premier League for another year.
Under the leadership of chairman Najib Al-Warfali, Al-Tahaddi’s management is aiming for a major transformation on all fronts. The club has already launched a comprehensive plan for the new season, covering both technical and structural aspects.
The preparations include negotiations with new players to strengthen the squad and the commencement of training sessions under the new coach. Beyond the sporting side, the club is also implementing development projects to improve its infrastructure—paving internal roads, adding service facilities, and constructing a dedicated team hotel.
Plans also extend to enhancing the club’s investment portfolio, with the renovation of existing shops and the launch of new projects on club-owned land.
These measures are part of Al-Tahaddi’s broader vision to restore its status as one of Libya’s most prominent and historic football institutions.
