All travelers from Libya to Malta requires to quarantine for 14 days, said the Maltese Embassy in Libya, after an agreement on resuming flights between the two countries.
“The inauguration flight from Malta to Libya will be on the 20th September 2021. Other unscheduled flights will follow. MEL Air will be the airline operating these flights,” The Embassy said in a statement on Friday.
“However, COVID-19 requirements still apply. Discussions are ongoing with regard to the Libyan vaccine certificate as till today, all travelers from Libya to Malta requires to quarantine for 14 days,” the statement added.
“This connectivity between the two countries confirm the collective work and commitment from Malta to assist the Libyan people,” it pointed out.
