Bashagha’s government hold consultative meeting in Benghazi

The Libyan new Prime Minister, Fathi Bashagha, visited the Cabinet Office in Benghazi, as part of his tour in the east of the country.

He was received by his deputy, Ali al-Qatrani, and a number of ministers, including the Minister of Planning and Finance, Osama Hammad.

Bashagha praised the role played by the deputies and ministers in receiving their workplaces and exercising their duties.

He stressed that the government came to meet the people’s demands for a decent life and access to presidential and parliamentary elections as soon as possible.

During the visit, a consultative meeting was held, during which the plans developed by the ministries for the progress of their work during the current year 2022 were discussed, in line with the needs of the people and providing the necessary services to them.

For his part, Deputy Prime Minister Ali al-Qatrani stressed that the Presidency of the Council of Ministers will facilitate all procedures for the ministries, which will provide services to the people directly.
