Benghazi – The waterfront of the city of Benghazi is witnessing the birth of a giant strategic project and a new architectural landmark as part of the unprecedented urban renaissance the city is experiencing.
The Benghazi Towers Complex project, being implemented by the National Development Agency in cooperation with the Turkish company TGG, is part of a series of promising development projects launched by the National Development Agency.
The project’s implementation is part of the reconstruction efforts underway in the city of Benghazi, embodying the directives of the General Commander of the Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, which aim to reshape the city’s face and highlight its cultural status on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.
The project, located in the Jeliana area, includes the construction of three advanced towers according to the latest international standards on an area spanning about 160,000 square meters, overlooking the 23rd of July Lake and near the Sports City.
The first tower, a commercial tower, comprises 31 floors dedicated to offices and commercial services, with a parking garage that can accommodate about 1,200 cars and modern facilities that meet future requirements.
The second tower, consisting of 19 floors, will include approximately one hundred and ten residential apartments of various sizes, which will be equipped with modern life amenities and surrounded by gardens and green spaces.
The third tower has been designed to be a luxury hotel consisting of 21 floors, including 275 luxurious hotel rooms and suites, in addition to restaurants, entertainment halls, and high-end hospitality facilities according to the highest international standards.
To ensure the highest levels of safety and sustainability at the Benghazi Towers Complex, the three towers will be equipped with an integrated early warning and firefighting system and modern surveillance systems, in addition to air conditioning and ventilation systems, a 10-megawatt power station, and an advanced station for water treatment, rainwater drainage, and sewage.
According to the National Development Agency, the project is expected to be completed in July of next year, 2026. The completion rate has now reached more than sixty-two percent of the concrete and steel structure work.
