Abdullah Blehaq, spokesperson for Libya’s House of Representatives, has denied the authenticity of a document circulating on social media bearing the signature of the Office of Presidential Affairs, which allegedly invites members to attend a session on August 25, 2025, to elect the head of the unified Libyan government.
He stressed that the document is fabricated and has no connection to any official or authorized body, urging the public to verify information and avoid being misled by false documents or reports that could cause confusion and misinform public opinion.
Blehaq called on all parties to rely solely on official sources and refrain from sharing unverified materials, in order to safeguard social harmony and political stability.
