Brent crude prices fell to $106 a barrel

Oil exceeds $100 a barrel after launching Russia’s military operation in Ukraine

Brent crude recorded Monday a decline of one percent, after rising Friday by about 2.3%.

Oil prices fell today, affected by the possibility of a new wave of the Corona virus pandemic in China, a concern that overshadowed the continuing concerns about lack of supply.

Brent crude futures fell $1.02, 1%, to $106.00, after rising 2.3% on Friday.

US West Texas Intermediate crude futures fell $1.38, 1.3%, to $103.41, trimming a 2% gain from Friday.
