British embassy in Libya urges fair distribution of public resources

The United Kingdom has invited Libyan leaders to find a compromise for a fair distribution of public resources, expressing appreciation for the invitation of the Presidential Council to national institutions to discuss this matter.

This was reported by the British embassy in a message via Twitter, commenting on the announcement by the Presidential Council to bring together Libyan institutions to discuss public spending and to promote transparency. 

The diplomatic mission of the United Kingdom urged “Libya’s leaders to put the Libyan people first and make the necessary choices and compromises to find a fair and equitable distribution of Libyan public resources”.
