CBL Governor participates in 2022 IMF, WBG Spring Meetings

A meeting of central banks governors was held within the 2022 Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG), with the participation of governors of Arab and African banks.

The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Al-Siddiq al-Kabir, participated in the meeting, which was held via video technology.

CBL said Thursday that the meeting discussed the challenges of central banks and monetary policies in light of global financial conditions and their repercussions on inflation rates and the rise in commodity prices.

It also discussed what central banks can take to adapt to these circumstances, according to CBL.
